Payments

Saved payment methods and automatic recurring billing

For recurring service — maintenance agreements, repeat visits on a fixed schedule — a client can save a payment method once instead of paying manually every cycle.

Saving a payment method

The client saves their card or bank account the same way they’d pay any invoice, through a secure Stripe-hosted form. TrackLobo never sees or stores the raw card or account number.

Automatic off-session charging

Once a payment method is saved, TrackLobo charges it automatically on each billing cycle for the agreed amount — no client action, no invoice reminder needed. The resulting invoice and payment record are created the same way a manual payment would be.

If a charge fails

A failed automatic charge is flagged so you can follow up with the client directly, rather than silently retrying indefinitely.
